With a humble beginning, Michigan-Sportsman.com was started in April of 1999. It was started as a personal collection of hunting and fishing links. Shortly after, interactive portions of the website were added with interactive forums really providing the spark to ignite the growth of the site. Today Michigan-Sportsman.com has over 36,000 members. Other smaller niche sites were added as spin-offs including MichiganTroutStreams.com and MichiganBucks.com were added in the following years.
In 2002, OhioSportsman.com was started with the same interactive community model that made Michigan-Sportsman.com so successful. 2003 saw the start of IndianaSportsman.com. Both sites, like Michigan-Sportsman.com enjoy almost exponential growth.
In 2007, WisconsinOutdoorsman.com was added to the fold. While this site is currently small compared to the others in the stable, the state demographics promise an exciting future.
iGreatLakes.com continues to grow targeting new websites in potential high growth areas in and around the Great Lakes region. While historically our website properties have concentrated on hunting and fishing topics and communities, the future we will follow opportunities for growth wherever they may present themselves.
