Advertising can be bought to target any or all sites on our network.  Price breaks are given for advertising on all sites on our network.

Banner design can be done for an additional fee.   Advertiser input and direction on banner design is important as you know your business best.

Advertisers are free to put links to their homepage in their signature and openly discuss their product or service on our forums.

The traffic our ads are seeing is increasing every year.   Many sponsors have seen the value in this and come back year after year (see our testimonials).   See the graphs below and to the right that detail our ever increasing audience.

Advertising with iGreatLakes.com

Advertising Rates

Advertising can be bought either on a yearly basis on a flat rate for standard banners or at a CPM rate of $2.50 per 1000 banner exposures for premium banner ads.   Since our typical banner ad gets in the neighborhood of 8000 exposures per day buying on a yearly basis is usually a much better deal.   Trial purchases of 1/2 year or 1/4 year can be purchased at rates of 65% and 40% of the yearly total respectively.

We offer some of the cheapest targeted advertising on the net.  As previously mentioned, Ads can be bought by 1000 exposures at $2.50 per 1000 with a minimum buy of $100.  The rate card below shows our yearly rates:

Get your ad shown exclusively on a particular forum.   This is in addition to the yearly rate to be in the general rotation on website(s) and can really target your ad towards a particular audience. Email Us

*Your banner ad is shown in a random rotation on all forums except those forums that have an exclusive advertiser.   Currently there are less than a dozen forums network wide that have an exclusive advertiser.   Email us for details if required.

Banner Requirements

Standard banners must be 468x64 pixels and no larger than 30k. They can be in gif or jpg formats and may be animated.   Premium Banner Ads are 728x90 pixels in size and can be rich media banners.  Banner ad design is available for an additional charge.  We recommend that you have multiple banners available as click through rates seem to increase with multiple banners per advertiser.

Traffic Statistics

The exact number of impressions per day  is not guaranteed and not totally predictable with daily and seasonal fluctuations.  Currently our yearly sponsors advertising across the entire iGreatLakes.com network average anywhere from 5000-10,000 impressions per day.   Advertising over our entire iGreatLakes.com network really provides a lot of bang for your 'buck".   Purchased separately a banner ad run on each of our major sites would cost $599.   This can be bought as a package deal across our network for only $399 as shown in the table above.

Below is a report from Google showing the traffic for our entire network of sites for the trailing year.   All sites in our network showed double digit growth.  All together our network had over 6,000,000 visits in that year.   That's a lot of eyes on your banner.
